Frame condition/alignment check

Headset checked for tightness/free rotation

Wheels & Tyres:

Hubs, checked for side play/free rotation

Wheel rims: check for wear and trueness

Tyres: checked and inflated

Brakes:

Brake/Gear shifters: position/tightness checked

Brake calipers: check pads for wear, correct positioning & torque

Brake disc rotors: checked for wear/true

Brake adjustment: check correct operation/cable clamp torque

Hydraulic brakes: check correct operation, advise on bleeding/fluid replacement if required

Drivetrain:

Bottom bracket checked for free rotation/no play

Chain checked for wear, cleaned & lubricated*

Chainset/crankset condition checked, chainrings measured for wear

Cassette checked and measured for wear

Rear derailleur indexed and torqued

Front derailleur indexed and torqued

Gears checked for correct operation

Finishing Kit

Saddle checked for condition

Seatpost checked for tightness

Handlebar and stem checked for tightness

*a worn chain should be replaced at the recommended wear measurement, if the chain is worn past this measure, then it is likely that the cassette and chainrings will also need to be replaced.

Frame condition / alignment check, clean and prep frame for rebuilding

Fork cleaned, and refitted

Headset bearings removed, cleaned, regreased and refitted

Wheels & Tyres:

Hubs, inspected, stripped adjusted, clean & regrease as necessary

Axles, cleaned & regreased

Wheel rims: check for wear, trued & tensioned

Tyres: checked and inflated. Tubeless systems replenished

Brakes:

Brake/Gear shifters: position and torque

Brake calipers: replace brake pads

Brake disc rotors: removed, checked for wear/true, replace/re-fit

Brake adjustment: check correct operation/cable clamp torque

Hydraulic brakes: check hoses, replace if required, re-bleed brake system

Mechanical brakes: replace cables & outers as required

Disc brake bed-in

Drivetrain:

Bottom bracket refitted/replaced as required

Chain checked for wear, cleaned & lubricated* (chain hot waxing labour free with this service if required)

Chainset/crankset checked for wear, cleaned and refitted, axle and chainrings torqued

Cassette removed, measured for wear, cleaned refitted and torqued

Gear cables & outers replaced as required

Rear derailleur hanger checked and aligned

Rear derailleur cleaned, refitted, indexed and torqued

Front derailleur cleaned, refitted, indexed and torqued

Gears checked for correct operation

Electronic systems charged and firmware updated

Finishing Kit:

Saddle checked for condition/torqued

Seatpost & seatclamp removed, cleaned, re-lubricated, refitted and torqued

Pedals checked for bearing play, removed, regreased, refitted and torqued

Handlebar and stem checked, cleaned, refitted & torqued

New handebar tape fitted.

During a service the following parts can be replaced with no extra labour cost: chain, chainrings, pedals, cassette.

Please drop off your bike in a clean condition. A £20 cleaning charge will be added for dirty bikes in order for us to begin work properly.
